In cooperation with Dr. Heinz Winsauer, Tiger Dental has successfully implemented a new course design: The Tiger Micro System practice course for TopJet Distalizer and PowerScrew Expansion.
The practical course on 22nd February imparted sound theoretical knowledge for application of the Tiger Micro Systems in addition to detailed exercises on typodonts and selected live-patient cases on the topics of distalization and expansion.
From now on the PowerScrew is available in the dimensions 8, 12 and 16 at the Tiger Dental shop. These expansion screw sets new standards within the field of the maxillary expansion. An intensive development time of two years was necessary to bring this premium product up to its maturity – now it’s done! The whole Tiger Dental team is very glad about this success and is looking forward to serve you with the product.
Ms Böhler, you have now been working in a key position at Tiger Dental for 16 years. You arrived at the company in 2001 and have contributed significantly to the rise of Tiger Dental and you have also witnessed all the developments at first hand …
We at Tiger Dental are pleased to make use of our innovative orthodontic treatment products to support the orthodontic treatment of children with cleft lip, jaw or palate, as official partner of the “Kyrgyzstan” project of the “Stiftung Zuversicht für Kinder”.
The Swiss orthodontist Dr. Marcel Frei has been committed for years to volunteering for the Foundation project in Kyrgyzstan. In no other country in the world have there been so many children born with a cleft palate as in the poor central Asian republic. The modern orthodontic treatment of children in Kyrgyzstan requires innovative equipment and tools as well as up-to-date medical know-how. When Dr. Frei, a long term customer of Tiger Dental, asked us about support, we of course agreed to support the “Stiftung Zuversicht für Kinder" project in Kyrgyzstan.
We look back with all-round satisfaction at our successful festival symposium. It was sad, though, that Petrus let us sit in the rain during the evening of the festival and the wonderful performance of Puccini’s Turandot on the lake stage had to be discontinued prematurely.
Thirty three Swiss orthodontists met on Saturday 10th May 2014 at Bern University Hospital in the Andre Schroeder Auditorium for the course “Distalisation and expansion in the upper jaw – new ways for more space” with many hands-on exercises.
